When a foreign national seeks protection, they are accommodated in a transit, registration and reception centre, or another shelter with the State Agency for Refugees. The risk assessment is performed by the interviewer – the case worker who investigates the facts and circumstances of significance in the proceedings to provide international protection in accordance with the Asylum and Refugees Act (ARA).
Illegal residents
The risk assessment is performed by the officers of Directorate General Border Police or Migration Directorate who identified the trafficked person. If translation/interpretation is necessary, it is arranged by the institution or organisation which conducts the interview.
